Kathleen Dennis,
the founder and president of Cedarwood Associates has a
depth of knowledge built over 25 years in the mutual fund and investment
management business. She has held senior positions in two asset
management companies, overseeing a range of business units and product
groups. She has a thorough understanding both of the responsibilities
of fund boards, and the challenges of the advisor business environment.
Kathleen is active in the industry, participating as a speaker or
panelist at mutual fund conferences, serving on industry task forces,
and as a steering committee member of the Mutual Fund Directors Forum.
She has served as an independent trustee for a large fund complex since
2006.
She
also gives willingly to her community, serving as a board
member/officer and volunteer for three nonprofit
organizations. She is directly involved
in the financial or investment responsibilities of each
organization.
